Friends of Alpha Park Public Library
The Friends of Alpha Park Public Library are a wonderful group of local residents who share a passionate commitment to supporting a strong library system for the community. These dedicated volunteers are involved in many activities throughout the year, including helping with library programs, fundraising for special projects, advocating for library funding, and more! The Friends also run the ongoing Book Sale at the back of the library, with all proceeds benefiting the library.
The Friends of APL meeting is the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m., and new members are always welcome.
Membership dues start at as little as $5, with many options available.
Please call Amber Hopwood, Friends President, at 309-697-3097 for more information.

The Friends of Alpha Park Public Library are hosting another RADA Cutlery Fundraiser through January! Whether you’re an avid chef or hate to cook, there are plenty of products to choose from, including knives, utensils, pans, gift sets, dry mixes, cookbooks, and more! Rada Cutlery makes a great gift for your family and friends this holiday season, and every purchase you make through the Friends' Fundraiser helps the Friends continue to support the library!
The Friends of Alpha Park Public Library are continuing to add commemorative bricks to the patio on the west side of the library. Commemorate a birthday or anniversary, or advertise your business by purchasing a paver engraved with the message of your choice. Each brick is $50, with the proceeds going to support the library. This project is a fantastic way to show your lasting support for the library and help build the patio. Order forms are available at the Circulation Desk. Thank you for supporting the Friends and Alpha Park Public Library!
